Extracellular deposition of amyloid-β (Aβ) aggregates in the brain represents one of the
histopathological hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Aβ peptides are generated from
proteolysis of the amyloid precursor proteins (APPs) by β-and γ-secretases. β-Secretase
