During neuromuscular synaptogenesis, neurally released agrin induces aggregation and
tyrosine phosphorylation of acetylcholine receptors (AChRs) by acting through both the
receptor tyrosine kinase MuSK (muscle-specific kinase) and the AChR-associated protein,
rapsyn. To elucidate this signaling mechanism, we examined tyrosine phosphorylation of
